Why Choose Chocolate Falls?

There is a place for every level of service and we choose to pay attention to every detail, providing a quality service we are always proud of, no matter what the event or surroundings.

The Fundamentals

These are the fundamental details that are essential to a fountain service:

  • We use only the best Belgian Couverture chocolate, Callebaut. We have tasted and tried others but they don’t come close. The look on the faces of guests tells us the extra cost is worthwhile! Even people who are not great chocolate lovers tell us regularly how much they loved it.
  • We always use freshly melted chocolate. The chocolate is the most considerable cost in any hire, but you are paying a lot of money and deserve to have fresh chocolate. Some companies use vegetable oil, even using several cups of it, to thin the chocolate down and therefore use less chocolate. Callebaut chocolate is fountain ready! We do not add cocoa butter. The cost is significantly more, but worthwhile.
  • All our electrical equipment is PAT Tested every year. Many venues ask for proof of this, and if anything were to go wrong, the venue may hold you, the client, responsible.
  • We are fully insured for £5 million public liability. Again, this is a significant cost but absolutely essential.
  • We have been visited, and passed on inspection, by Environmental Health and are registered with East Lothian Council as an outside caterer.
  • If you are paying by credit or debit card, we immediately shred the details after the payment has gone through.
  • We provide a contract covering both, you the client, as well as ourselves.

The Operators will:

  • Deliver and set up the chocolate fountain, dipping items, decorations and display Set up and dismantle the machine.
  • Keep the chocolate fountain running smoothly during the event and add chocolate as required
  • Replenish supplies & dipping items as needed and keep the display looking neat, attractive and fresh
  • Greet guests and keep little (and big) fingers out of the chocolate fountain.and help to prevent double-dipping!
  • Attend to the smooth running of the machine throughout the event.
  • Replenish the dipping foods and chocolate as needed
  • Offer friendly and professional service at all times
  • Breakdown and transport the chocolate fountain and clean-up the dipping items, decorations and display
